LEBRON James saw a glimpse of the future of Philippine basketball in his third visit to Manila on Saturday.
The NBA superstar teamed up with a towering teen center Kai Sotto late in Gilas Young Blood 92-71 win over the Gilas OG squad in the Strive for Greatness tour.
James even linked up with the 15-year-old Sotto in an alley-oop play that the 7-foot-2 wunderkind failed to complete, although he was quick to clean up his own miss.

The 7-foot-2 Sotto also flashed his improving post-up skills earlier as the Ateneo Blue Eaglet put the moves on Ginebra star Japeth Aguilar and converted on a short stab that impressed the crowd at the packed MOA Arena.
After the exhibition, James lauded the players for being “unbelievable.”
