KATIN Reinhardt showed the way as Marquette upset No. 7 Creighton, 102-94, on Saturday in Omaha, Nebraska (Sunday, Manila time).

The Golden Eagles took control late in the first half and held on for their fourth win in seven games in the Big East.

Reinhardt came off the bench to score 21 points on 8 of 13 shooting, while starters Jajuan Johnson and Luke Fisher came up with 18 points apiece.

The Golden Eagles scored their 13th win in 19 games, while ending the Bluejays’ win streak at five.

Marcus Foster scored 30 points, making 13 of 24 field goal attempts, for Creighton, which absorbed only its second loss in 20 games.

Both Creighton (5-2) losses were absorbed in Big East play, the other one to NCAA champion Villanova.

Davion Mintz had 17 points off the bench for Creighton, which lost Marcus Watson to a torn anterior cruciate ligament in the game against Xavier last week.
