MARQUETTE sealed the No. 4 seeding in the Big East tournament and pushed Creighton to the No. 6 spot with a 91-83 victory in the regular season finale on Saturday in Milwaukee (Sunday, Manila time).
Jajuan Johnson scored 20 points as Marquette improved its Big East regular season win-loss record to 10-6, matching Creighton, Seton Hall and Providence.
Marquette, 19-11 overall, takes on Seton Hall in the Big East quarters.
Creighton, meanwhile, will take on No. 3 Providence.
NCAA basketball champion Villanova in the top seed followed by Butler.
Markus Howard scored 18 and three other Marquette players scored in double figures.
Khyri Thomas led Creighton, scoring 23 points on 9 of 16 shooting, while Cole Huff and Justin Patton added 11 each.
Kobe Paras did not see action in the regular season finale.
