Xavier rallies in second half and gets back at struggling Creighton as Kobe Paras a DNP

XAVIER got back at Creighton, scoring a come-from-behind 82-80 victory on Saturday in Omaha, Nebraska (Sunday, Manila time).

The Musketeers fell behind by 11 in the first half but fought back to even things with Creighton, which won their first encounter this season.

JP Macura scored 13 of his 15 points in the second half, helping the Musketeers make it three straight wins.

Trevon Bluiett and Tyrique Jones came up with 16 points apiece as Xavier notched its 17th win in 23 outings with a 7-3 win-loss record in the Big East.

The Bluejays saw their win streak end at two, suffering their fourth loss in 24 outings.

Marcus Foster had 17 points on 7 of 18 shooting, while Khyri Thomas had 15 points, making 6 of 9 field goal attempts.

Kobe Paras of the Philippines did not see action for the Bluejays, who now hold a 7-4 record in the Big East.
