Kobe Paras played in 15 games with Creighton this season.

KOBE Paras is moving to California State University Northridge after a year at Creighton.

The 19-year-old Filipino said on a Twitter post on Tuesday he is eager to see action again after agreeing to join the Matadors, who compete in the Big West Conference.

“I am happy to say that I have verbally committed to play at Cal State University Northridge. Can't wait to be back on the court playing!” Paras said.

Paras last year withdrew from UCLA and joined Creighton but Paras saw limited action with the Bluejays, who went 25-10 in the Big East.

Paras had his first taste of NCAA Tournament play this season with the Bluejays, who fell at the first hurdle against Rhose Island.

The Matadors wound up sixth this season in the Big West with an 11-19 record.

The Big West has University of California Irvine, University of California Davis, University of California Riverside, University of California Santa Barbara, Caifornia State Fullerton, Long Beach State, University of Hawai'i at Manoa, and California Polytechnic State University.
