KJ McDaniels and Lance Stephenson are not the only imports with NBA pedigree who’s set to strut their stuff in the East Asia Super League-Terrific 12.
Veteran Brandon Bass is set to team up with Stephenson with Liaoning Flying Leopards, making the former Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) champion among the top contenders for the crown in the Sept. 17 to 23 meet in Macau.

Bass, 34, was a second round pick of the New Orleans Hornets in the 2005 draft and had stints with Dallas, Orlando, Boston, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Los Angeles Clippers.
The Leopards also have in their roster Guo Ailun and Zhao Jiwei, who’s part of the starting unit of the Chinese basketball team currently seeing action in the FIBA World Cup in China.

McDaniels, the former Houston Rocket, meanwhile will reinforce the title bid of the TnT Katropa as they make their Asian League debut together with the San Miguel Beermen.
Defending champion Ryukyu Golden Kings are not to be left behind as they will also parade former Utah Jazz Jack Cooley in the week-long meet.

The Shenzhen Aviators on their part will parade the NBA pair of Shabazz Muhammad and Pierre Jackson. Muhammad suited up for Minnesota Timberwolves and the Milwaukee Bucks, while Jackson had a stint with the Mavericks.
Other teams whose imports had previous NBA experience include Aaron Jackson for Zhejiang Guangsha and Jameel Warney with Seoul SK Knights.
The 25-year-old Warney had stint with the Mavericks, while Jackson played briefly for the Rockets.
All 12 teams seeing action will arrive in Macao by Sept. 16 in time for the opener the following day.
