PERTH, Australia — Kieffer Alas continued his integration into the Warwick Senators system on Thursday night, taking part in a light workout as the team prepared for its upcoming matchup against NBL1 rival Cockburn Cougars.
On his second day of training with the squad at Warwick Stadium, Alas expressed confidence in his adjustment process, praising his new teammates for their welcoming attitude.

“The training and sets of the Senators are great, and I feel like I’m adapting well. Everyone here is very accommodating, which makes settling in much easier,” the Filipino teen prospect shared.
While the Senators fine-tuned their game plan for Friday night’s showdown, Alas absorbed the energy and camaraderie around him, though he is not expected to see playing time yet.
The young prospect will watch from the bench as the Senators take on Cockburn Cougars. NBL1 is the developmental league of Australia professional league NBL where Kai Sotto saw action for three seasons with the Adelaide 76ers.
Observing the De La Salle Zobel standout's progress from the sidelines were his parents, veteran coach Louie Alas and mother Liza, along with a small but enthusiastic group of Filipino fans showing their support.
