KIEFFER Alas is changing his address in Utah.
Last year's UAAP Boys' MVP is now suiting up for Utah Prep Academy, transferring after a brief stint with Layton Christian Academy.

Alas decided to take his talents elsewhere late last year, seeing Utah Prep as a better opportunity to showcase his skills.

The 6-foot-2 wing is continuing his quest to hone his talents in the U.S. and actually wated no time making an impact for his new team.
Alas on fire
He opened the new year in explosive fashion, going nuclear for Utah Prep in the Premier Prep Phoenix Open Tournament on Saturday (Manila time).
The younger brother of NLEX guard Kevin shot the lights out and buried 10 treys for his 34 points in his first game for his fresh squad.
Utah Prep is no stranger to Filipino talents, with this being the former home of Fil-Am guard JJ Mandaquit who suited up for the U.S. 16-under roster.
It also was once housed All-American AJ Dybantsa, who now plays for the BYU Cougars.
