KENT Salado has been channeling his inner Jio Jalalon lately and on Thursday pulled off a feat that only Ray Parks and Mike Tolomia have done in the PBA D-League.
Salado posted a triple-double of 11 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists in Racal’s 50-point rout of Zark’s Burger in the Foundation Cup.
He was also an efficient ball handler, turning the ball over only once in almost 24 minutes of action.

The 5-foot-9 playmaker admitted he is really trying to chase such figures.
"Iba rin feeling pag nakakua ka ng triple double," said Salado, who had been putting up near-triple doubles in the D-League and the Filoil Flying V Cup for the Chiefs.
Hanging out regularly with the now Star Hotshot Jalalon also might have helped him rake in those numbers.
"Lagi ko sya nakakasama, lumalabas kami, pumupunta sa bahay ng girlfriend niya minsan," he said. "Sinasabihan nya lang ako na pagtrabahuhan ko lang daw at pagdating sa laro, focus lang."
The Chiefs skipper said he's setting his focus on helping the team maintain its elite status after the Jalalon era.
"Basta paghihirapan ko yan. Pagtatrabahuhan ko," he said.
