KEVIN Quiambao helped put a stop to Goyang Sono Skygunners' two-game skid in an emphatic 85-63 road win against Suwon KT SonicBoom on Sunday in the 2025-26 Korean Basketball League (KBL) season.
The Gilas Pilipinas stud scored 22 points built on four treys, alongside seven rebounds, six assists, and three steals as Goyang rose to a 4-9 record.
JD Cagulangan had 10 points, three assists, a board, and a steal in Suwon's third straight defeat and sixth in 13 games overall.
That loss followed the SonicBoom's 89-81 setback to Busan KCC Egis on Saturday where Cagulangan registered seven points, five rebounds, three assists, and one steal. William Navarro was not fielded in the game by Busan (7-5).
Rhenz Abando was also victorious on Sunday as Anyang Jung Kwan Jang routed the Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus, 76-50, at Dongcheon Gymnasium.
Abando contributed 10 points, five rebounds, two steals, and one block in Anyang's cause as it bounced back from a two-game skid and reclaimed its place at the top of the standings at 9-4.
Migs Oczon was not fielded in the game by Ulsan (6-8).
Arvin Tolentino also helped the Seoul SK Knights stun Seoul Samsung Thunders, 75-67, on the road at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium on Sunday.
His eight points, two rebounds, one assist, and one steal kept the Knights' three-game win run going as they leveled their record at 7-7.
Justin Gutang was limited to two points, six assists, five rebounds, and one steal in the contest as the Thunders slipped to 6-8 after absorbing back-to-back losses.
That was after Seoul Samsung's 85-80 home loss to Daegu KOGAS Pegasus on Saturday where Gutang tallied 11 points, three rebounds, and three assists.
SJ Belangel was superb in that game, firing 20 points, six assists, three rebounds, and one steal for just the third win in 13 matches for Daegu.
Carl Tamayo was held to just six points and four boards in Changwon LG Sakers' 66-59 loss to Wonju DB Promy on Saturday.
Ethan Alvano chipped in 14 points, three rebounds, three assists, and three steals as Wonju forced a tie for second place with Changwon at 8-4.
