AUGUSTINIAN Abbey School (AAS) ruled the Las Piñas Schools Athletic Association (LPSAA) elementary boys basketball tournament after beating St. Mark’s Institute (SMI)-Annex, 90-64, in the championship game recently held at the AAS gym.
Jorge Carlos Jose was named Finals Most Valuable Player, while Dan Andrei Ingco, more popularly known as ‘Kalye Irving’ for his fancy dribbling video that went viral on social media, was also named to the Mythical Five for the AAS Angels en route to the title.
Adam James Castillo and Christian De Luna of SMI-Annex, Santiago Ma. C. David of Southridge School, and Shawn McKenzie S. Kohut of Don Carlo Cavina School were also named to the Mythical Five.
In the battle for third, Southridge School edged Don Carlo Cavina School, 100-54.
