FIVE European teams are out to get Kai Sotto's services, but so far, the 16-year-old wunderkind has yet to ponder on where he'll take his talents next.
"Wala pa kasi di pa kami nakakapag-decide," he said during the Chooks-to-Go-hosted sendoff party at Edsa Shangri-la on Tuesday night.
Barcelona, Real Madrid, Baskonia, and Estudiantes in Spain, as well as ALBA Berlin in Germany are intent on enlisting the UAAP Season 81 juniors Most Valuable Player.
Sotto has had the chance to soak in the atmosphere as he and his family visited some of those clubs late last year.
For now, though, the 7-foot-2 phenom is focused on his first order of business, which is to undergo intensive training in Atlanta.
"Sabi ng dad ko, mag-focus lang ako sa US kasi sobrang crucial noon para sa akin," he said.
Sotto also expects his mettle to be tested in this foray, one which he welcomes with open arms as he sees himself coming out to be a better player.
