LEARNING never stops for the players under the East West Private stable as NBA legend Tracy McGrady paid the young guns a visit on Wednesday (Manila time).
McGrady, a 16-year veteran and a two-time league scoring champion, spent time with the players as they made the most of the holiday season.
"There are never enough hours in a day to be blessed and grateful for the priceless gifts of someone's time and knowledge of the game and the industry. But even more important was the discussion around the game of life," EWP wrote in a post.
McGrady held court at the Cincinnati Angels' gym in Ohio where the young players spent their Christmas.
Among his audience for the workout were Kai Sotto, who is preparing for his first season in the NBA G League with Ignite, as well as Cholo Anonuevo and Auburn commit Sage Tolentino.
The players can truly learned a lot from McGrady, who was a seven-time NBA All-Star, twice a member of the All-NBA First Team, thrice of the Second Team, and twice in the Third Team between his stops in Toronto, Orlando, Houston, New York, Detroit, Atlanta, and San Antonio, where he last played in 2013.
