IS Kai Sotto taking his act to Kentucky?
Well, it's still too early to tell. But the 7-foot-2 center made an unofficial visit to Lexington on Monday (Manila time) and soaked in the atmosphere.
Sotto went around the campus and conversed with Wildcats head coach John Calipari and assistant Kenny Payne as his dad Ervin joined him in the trip.
No commitment has been made yet, but ESPN ranked the former UAAP Juniors MVP as a four-star recruit for the Class of 2020, at 76th overall and 11th among centers.
Sotto is currently seeing action for the Atlanta-based training camp The Skill Factory.
Aside from Kentucky, the 17-year-old Sotto is also drawing interest from several schools, among them Auburn and South Carolina.
