KAI Sotto only logged eight minutes as the Adelaide 36ers faltered late in their 98-90 loss to the Perth Wildcats on Friday in the 2022-23 NBL season at Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
The Filipino center did collect eight points, three rebounds, and three assists but watched from the bench as the game was decided late.

After Anthony Drmic gave Adelaide the 84-81 lead in the final 3:33, Perth responded with a 9-0 blast capped by a step back jumper from Bryce Cotton to make it a 90-84 affair.
Mitch McCarron repeatedly tried to rally the 36ers, but Cotton and Corey Webster were just too cool from the line in the final minute for the Wildcats.
McCarron paced Adelaide with 20 points, 13 boards, six assists, and two steals, but those heroics couldn't stop his side from dropping a second successive game and falling below .500 at 6-7.
Robert Franks added 19 points and five rebounds, Antonius Cleveland produced 13 points, four boards, and three dimes, and Drmic scored 11 in the loss.
Adelaide hits the road anew on Sunday to meet the South East Melbourne Phoenix.
Cotton sizzled for his 32 points from four treys, while Webster and Tashawn Thomas both nabbed 22 points apiece for Perth.
