KAI Sotto will keep wearing his No. 11 jersey as he begins a new chapter in his basketbal career with the NBA G League select team.
The 18-year-old Filipino center snapped a photo of his practice jersey and shared it on his Instagram stories as the young squad began their training sessions in Walnut Creek, California.
Sotto has worn the familiar digits during his time with the Ateneo Blue Eaglets, including in UAAP Season 81 where he won the MVP honors.
He also used the jersey number for Gilas Pilipinas Youth when the Philippines finished fourth in the 2017 Fiba Under-16 Asian Championship in Foshan, China.

No. 11, though, hasn't always been the number on Sotto's back.
Aside from No. 11, the 7-foot-2 beanpole has also worn No. 13 and No. 30 in his time in The Skill Factory in Atlanta, the same jersey numbers his dad Ervin wore back in his playing days in the PBA.
He also used No. 12 for Gilas Youth in the 2017 SEABA Under-16 Championship here in Manila, No. 19 in the 2018 Fiba Under-17 World Cup in Argentina, and No. 15 in both the 2018 Fiba Under-18 Asian Championship in Thailand and 2019 Fiba Under-19 World Cup in Heraklion, Greece.
Sotto and the rest of the NBA G League select team have buckled down to work as some of the top high school prospects in the United States take their first step in achieving their NBA dreams under the guidance of coach Brian Shaw.
