CHICAGO - Justine Baltazar will play for the Seoul Samsung Thunders in the Korean Basketball League (KBL), multiple sources told SPIN.ph.
It's a quick bounce back for the 25-year old former La Salle star whose tenure in the Japan B.League ended with an uneventful December 20 release from the Hiroshima Dragonflies where he barely got off the bench and logged just 13 minutes in eight games.

Before heading to the KBL, the 6-foot-9, 250-pound power forward will make a quick detour to the Dubai Invitational Tournament from January 27 to February 5 where he will suit up for the Jacob Lao-owned Strong Group Philippines which banners an all-star cast headed by former NBA star Nick Young.
Sponsored by the electronics giant, the Seoul Samsung Thunders are currently ranked 10th among 10 teams in the KBL with a 10-18 record. Their record last season was 9-45 in 54 regular season games.
Fil-Am Christian David was signed as the Asian import of Seoul but was released last month after playing just one game with the team.
"They're probably the only team with a roster spot," the source revealed when asked why Justine landed with the Thunders, adding that this deal could be "short-term."
