    Games Saturday (Pasig City Sports Center): 2 p.m. – Judiciary vs GSIS; 3:30 p.m. – Senate vs DOJ; 5 p.m. – AFP vs Malacañang-PSC

THE Judiciary Magis try to firm up their playoff bid when they take on the winless GSIS Furies on Saturday while Malacañang-Philippine Sports Commission goes for its first back-to-back wins in the 2nd UNTV Cup Executive Face-Off at the Pasig City Sports Center.

Fully rested after a two-week hiatus, the Magis should be heavily favored in their 2 p.m. showdown with the Furies in the annual tournament for public servants organized by UNTV president and CEO Daniel Razon.

Led by Joey Yabut and Supreme Court sdministrator Jose Midas Marquez, the Magis were rampant the last time as they drubbed the Malacañang-PSC Kamao, 81-41, for their third win in four starts.

Though already out of the playoff picture, the Furies (0-5) are out to play the spoilers' role.

The Kamao, however, have recovered from that embarrassment after scoring a convincing 105-79 over the Furies.

In that win – their first in four starts – Special Assistant to the President Sec. Bong Go shone brightest by erupting for 44 points – the most by any player in the tournament offering P1 million to the charity of the champion team.

Go and company hope to follow up that romp when they clash with the defending champion Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Cavaliers at 5 p.m.

Clashing at 3:30 p.m. are the Senate Sentinels and the DOJ Boosters with the former out to snap a two-game slide after a perfect 3-0 start.
