PASIG Grindhouse Kings redeemed themselves as they ruled the second leg of the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 President's Cup, topping 1Bataan Risers, 21-18, in the finals on Sunday afternoon at SM Megamall Events Center in Mandaluyong.

Joshua Munzon drilled the game-winning long bomb from the right corner with 1:25 to spare and avenge themselves from that runner-up finish last week.

"It was so sweet, especially after losing the last leg in the championship game. It was a great comeback for us," said the Fil-Am swingman.

Munzon powered Pasig Grindhouse with eight points, as Taylor Statham towered over its rivals with seven.

Dylan Ababou also chipped in six points as he strung four points in the final two minutes as the Kings averted disaster.

Pasig Grindhouse was in control, 12-6 midway through the game before 1Bataan staged a 10-2 rally ignited by Anton Asistio.

Santi Santillan's freebies gave the Risers a 15-14 lead with 3:45 remaining before an injured Sean Manganti gave them the emotional lift, coming back from a sprained right ankle and drilling a stepback jumper that gave 1Bataan a 16-14 lead.

Statham, though, forced his way down low before Ababou followed suit with a putback and Munzon putting the game away with his winner for Pasig Grindhouse.

The Kings bagged the P100,000 cash prize for winning the leg.

Santillan notched six points as Asistio had five in the bridesmaid finish for the first leg champion 1Bataan.

Pasaol also scored four, while the hurting Manganti contributed three in the defeat.

Vigan Baluarte Wolves and San Juan Knights-Go for Gold reached the semifinals for this leg.

Also, Joe Gomez de Liano won the Dunk Contest after jumping over fellow UP Fighting Maroons James Spencer and brother Juan.

Carga Valenzuela's Jan Jamon also topped the Three-Point Shootout over Ababou.

    The scores:

    Pasig Grindhouse 21 - Munzon 8, Statham 7, Ababou 6, Rike 0.
