JOLAN Amatosa had 20 points and 18 rebounds as KGN Compression defeated San Sebastian, 53-43, in Week Seven of the Milcu Got Skills Hard To Guard 12-under basketball tournament at the Lyceum gym in Manila.
Amatosa’s effort earned him the A Game Player of the Week in lifting KGN to the victory in the tournament sponsored by Milcu and sanctioned by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas.
In other matches, Chiang Kai Shek College defeated MGC New Life Christian Academy, 55-25, with Christian Dungca leading the way with 10 points and 14 boards.
La Salle Greenhills beat MGC, 47-23, while FBA Ronac outclassed Paref Northfield School, 74-19, in the tournament also backed by Basketball TV, Gerry's Grill, Gatorade, Clyde Shoe Cleaner, LGR, SLAM, Rain or Shine, Honda, Coach Athletic Trainers Tape, Secret Fresh, Mighty Sports, Nousha Kebabs and Barbeque, FMR Bus Services, and Patricio’s Online Sneaker Source.
LSGH, however, couldn’t contain St. Jude Catholic School, which pulled off a 38-15 victory but suffered a 38-24 defeat against Malabon Basketball Club. KGN Compression defeated San Sebastian, 53-43.
In the 13-under class, Lorenz Ang had 28 points to lift San Sebastian College to a 69-64 win over De La Salle-Zobel.
