Former Green Archers Thomas Torres, Jeron Teng and Norbert Torres were brought to St. Luke’s Medical Center where they are currently recovering.

JERON Teng, Norbert Torres and Thomas Torres suffered injuries in a parking lot attack early Sunday in Bonifacio Global City, according to sources.

Teng, who was coming off a PBA game with Alaska, was stabbed three times on the back while the two Torreses (not related) were said to have been stabbed in the arm.

Police were able to identify the three suspects after reviewing CCTV footage - Edmar Manalo, 40; Joseph Varona, 33, and Willard Basili, 36.

All three were arrested, according to the police report filed at Taguig's Police Precint 7.

According to the police report, the three players were walking outside the Early Night Club at the Fort Strip at around 2:30 a.m. of Sunday when they were jeered by the men, triggering a melee.

    The three were brought to St. Luke’s Medical Center where they have been declared out of danger and currently recovering.

    Teng was fresh off an eight-point and 10-rebound performance in Alaska’s 109-103 win over GlobalPort, while Norbert Torres played for 16 minutes and collected five points and three rebounds in Rain or Shine’s 99-96 overtime win against Magnolia.

    Thomas Torres is set to play for Mandaluyong El Tigre in the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League.
