JERON Teng went straight from Flying V's match in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup to Gilas Pilipinas practice on Monday night.
Teng helped the Thunder take a 94-86 win over Racal at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig before proceeding to the national team's training at the Meralco Gym.
The former La Salle star joined the Gilas pool too late to be part of the team bound for the Jones Cup in Taipei from July 15-23 and the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur in August, but has decided to stick it out with the practices.
Also in attendance were Kobe Paras, Kiefer Ravana, Almond Vosotros, Fonzo Gotladera, Mac Belo, Mike Tolomia, Carl Cruz, Matthew Wright, Von Pessumal, Kevin Ferrer, Bobby Ray Parks, Jr., Jio Jalalon, Ed Daquioag, and Raymar Jose.
Fil-German Christian Standhardinger sent word that he was stuck in traffic but was on his way to the gym.
