Filipino import Jerick Canada scored 11 and American reinforcements Dior Lowhorn and Chris Charles had 18 and 14 points, respectively, for the Malaysia Selection, which will face the Guangzhou Lions in the semifinals.
Guangzhou have notable players in Iranian star Nikka Bahrami and former NBA player Alex Kirk.
Playing in the other semifinal are Croatia Old Star Zagreb and NS Matrix in the tournament where PBA team Blackwater also participated.
