JEREMY Lin said he appreciated former NBA teammate Rondae Hollis-Jefferson visiting him in the New Taipei Kings' EASL game against Meralco on Wednesday.
Even more so that Hollis-Jefferson went to Lin’s game on his birthday.

The two were teammates with the Brooklyn Nets from 2016 to 2018, developing a friendship along the way. They reunited on the former TNT import's 28th birthday.
“He is like a little brother,” said Lin. “He’s through all my nine years in the NBA. He is one of my closest friends through those nine years.”
“Today is his birthday and he came out,” said Lin.

Hollis-Jefferson celebrated with Lin on the court after he went for 23 points and 10 rebounds in New Taipei’s 89-77 win over PBA side Meralco at the Philsports Arena.
Lin said he has remained in touch with Hollis-Jefferson, so he has an idea of how he has been performing in the PBA with TNT, which he led to a championship in last season’s Governors’ Cup.
Hollis-Jefferson’s stint with the Tropang Giga was recently cut short due to an injury, and will be replaced by his brother Rahlir starting on Friday during their match-up against Rain or Shine.
“He’s just a great guy. He is killing it out here doing a great job, having a lot of fun. I appreciate his support for the Kings,” said Lin of Rondae.
