LAPU-LAPU CITY - Jeremy Lin and the New Taipei Kings were the first to touch down in the Queen City of the South for the EASL Final Four this weekend.
And there's no rest for the weary as the Kings went to work outright at the Hoops Dome where they held practice late Wednesday afternoon.
This will be the first time the former NBA player is taking his act down South after twice playing in Manila: once earlier this year for the Kings' games against the Meralco Bolts and before that during the 2013 NBA preseason game between the Houston Rockets and Indiana Pacers.
Later in the night, Anyang Jung Kwan Jang featuring former Gilas Pilipinas standout Rhenz Abando, also arrived here for the culmination of the league's first-ever home-and-away season. The Red Boosters are the defending champions.
Another Korean squad in Seoul SK Knights also came over Wednesday night.
Top seed and undefeated Chiba Jets won't be arriving until Thursday for the formal presser at the Dusit Thani Hotel.
The Jets are taking on the Taipei Kings in Friday's main game of the Final Four, while it's an all-Korean battle between Anyang and Seoul in the other semis pairing.
