JASON Brickman’s Meralco debut could actually come a lot earlier.
The Bolts’ rookie is in line to make his first appearance with Meralco in the EASL when they face Ryukyu Golden Kings on February 11 at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum.

Meralco coach Luigi Trillo said Brickman has been practicing with the team as part of the Bolts' build-up for their final EASL elimination-round game against the Kings.
“He is part of our team now but depends on coach Nenad [Vucinic] if he will be included sa eight locals [for the EASL game],” said Trillo.
Brickman recently signed a one-year deal with Meralco at the end of his stint with Abra in the MPBL. The Bolts picked Brickman at No. 7 in the PBA Season 50 draft last September.
Brickman enters Meralco with the team in a must-win situation against Ryukyu.
The Bolts sit at third place in Group B with a 3-2 win-loss record behind the Kings, who have a 3-1 slate. Taoyuan Pauian Pilots lead the group with a 4-1 card.
The top two teams in each of the three groups advance to the next round.
