“We would like to inform you that the player contract of Thirdy Ravena will expire at the end of the 2023-24 season. Accordingly, he will be listed on the list of free agents to be announced by B.League,” the team said in a tweet.
Ravena spent four seasons with the ball club since he first signed with them in June 2020. He is also the first Asian Player Quota named in the league.
In the recent season, Ravena had his finest campaign in Japan as he helped steer the NeoPhoenix to the Western conference championship, where they lost to the Hiroshima Dragonflies in the quarterfinals.
"The thought of having to leave this place that I’ve called home these past few years gets me very emotional," said the former Ateneo star in a separate social media post, "but such is life. We keep moving forward!"
