    Thirdy gets better of Parks; Wright beats Kiefer in B.League

    THIRDY Ravena got the better of Bobby Ray Parks as San-En won, 94-80, over Nagoya on Wednesday in the 2022-23 Japan B.League season at Toyohashi City Gymnasium.

    Ravena shot 3-of-5 from deep for his 20 points, three rebounds, and three assists as San-En scored earn back-to-back wins for a 12-12 record.

    Kazuki Hosokawa shot seven treys and finished with 25 points and six boards, Kyle O'Quinn tallied 15 points, seven rebounds, and four dimes, and Isaiah Hicks got 14 points, seven boards, and four assists in the NeoPhoenix win.

    Parks, on the other hand, tallied 11 points, four steals, and two rebounds for Nagoya which saw the end of its two-game win streak to fall to 17-7.

    Coty Clarke missed out on a triple-double with 19 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists, while Takumi Saito shot four three-pointers for his 18 points and six dimes in the Diamond Dolphins' defeat.

    Matthew Wright shot four treys as Kyoto Hannaryz took down Kiefer Ravena's Shiga Lakes, 89-72, at Shiga Daihatsu Arena.

    The Fil-Canadian shooter had 16 points, five assists, four rebounds, and two steals as Kyoto won two straight games and rose to 9-15.

    Jarrod Uthoff led Kyoto with 25 points, nine boards, and four assists as five players scored in double digits for the Hannaryz.

      Ravena, on the other hand, once again got the starting nod and produced 11 points, two rebounds, and two assists in Shiga's seventh straight defeat to fall to 4-20.

      Jordan Hamilton paced the Lakes with 19 points, 11 boards, and six assists in the loss.

      Dwight Ramos, meanwhile, is close to returning for Levanga Hokkaido but still missed their 69-63 win over Sendai 89ers at Xebio Arena Sendai.

      The Fil-Aussie gunner notched nine points and four boards as Nagasaki improved to 18-8 after this third straight win.

      Roosevelt Adams' 17-point and six-rebound effort ended up for naught in Kagawa Five Arrows' 92-78 loss to Nishinomiya Storks at Nishinomiya Central Gymnasium.

      It was Kagawa's fifth consecutive defeat to drop to 8-18.

      Greg Slaughter continued to sit out for Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka in their 80-66 loss to Kumamoto Volters at Fukuoka Citizen Gymnasium as the home team slumped to a 10-16 record.
