    Solid showings go to waste as skids continue for Ravena bros' teams

    LOSSES continued to haunt the Ravena brothers as their respective teams could not hurdle their respective skids on Saturday in the 2022-23 Japan B.League season.

    Kiefer's Shiga Lakes stumbled to their 10th straight defeat, losing to Akita Northern Happinets, 84-77, at Shiga Daihatsu Arena.

    The Gilas Pilipinas guard saw his overall effort of 15 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals go down the drain as Shiga dropped to 4-23.

    Thirdy's San-En NeoPhoenix, meanwhile, incurred their fourth consecutive loss with an 84-74 defeat to the Hiroshima Dragonflies at Hiroshima Sun Plaza.

    He put up 22 points, to go with four assists and a board but San-En slid to a 12-16 card after earlier losing to the same team, 93-81 on Friday

    Also losing was Bobby Ray Parks' Nagoya Diamond Dolphins which took a slim 80-79 loss to Utsonomiya Brex at Brex Arena.

    Parks had 14 points and four rebounds for Nagoya to fall to 19-8 after Makoto Hiejima's game-winning split in the waning seconds of the game.

    Matthew Wright's Kyoto Hannaryz also absorbed a 94-88 setback at the hands of SunRockers Shibuya at Kyoto City Gymnasium.

    The Fil-Canadian registered nine points, three assists, and two rebounds in Kyoto's second straight loss to drop to 10-17.

      Dwight Ramos remained on the sidelines for the 16th straight game owing to an ankle injury as Levanga Hokkaido fell to Osaka Evessa, 91-83, at Ookini Arena Maishima.

      It was Hokkaido's third straight loss to sink to 7-20.
