IT wasn't his best scoring night by any means, but RJ Abarrientos' Shinshu Brave Warriors charged to a badly-needed 79-73 victory over Dwight Ramos' equally struggling Levanga Hokkaido side in a battle between two of the bottom four teams in the Japan B.League.
Ramos' 17 points, five assists, and four boards couldn't save Hokkaido from the depths of a 23rd defeat as Abarrientos' meager four-point output played part in a close contest for Shinshu's sixth win in 32 games thus far.
Thirdy's hot streak with San-en continues
Joint league-leaders San-en Neophoenix had another lopsided 98-75 win over Nagasaki Velca under its belt with 12 markers, six boards, and two dimes from Thirdy Ravena in the season of his life for the title-contending side.

Moreover, the Filipino pair of Matthew Wright and Ray Parks, Jr. had stellar outputs in their respective victories.
Wright topped the scoresheets for Kyoto Hannaryz over Carl Tamayo's former squad Ryukyu Golden Kings, 94-85, with 20 points, four rebounds, and three assists in 36 minutes of play.
Parks, meanwhile, dished out 11 points in 22 minutes as the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins fashioned out an 89-85 romp over the Sendai 89ers.
Unfortunately, a win wasn't meant to be for Kai Sotto and his loan club Yokohama B-Corsairs despite his best scoring output to date with 16 points, five boards, and a block in 20 minutes of action in a loss to the Shimane Susanoo Magic, 86-98.
