AFTER a tough loss the night before, Kiefer Ravena bounced back to lead Yokohama to a 77-65 statement win over the Seahorses Mikawa to split their weekend series in the Japan B.League on Sunday.
The veteran playmaker finished with 17 points and three rebounds in 21 minutes, as the B-Corsairs snapped Mikawa’s five-game winning streak.
Quentin Millora-Brown and the Chiba Jets also bounced back with an 86-78 revenge win over the Ibaraki Robots, with the lanky center contributing nine points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, AJ Edu delivered a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds to steer the Gunma Crane Thunders to a weekend sweep of the Alvark Tokyo, 78-54, stretching their streak to four straight wins.
Not so good for other Filipino imports
In other games, Kai Sotto posted 15 points, 13 rebounds, and seven assists, but it went for naught, as the Koshigaya Alphas absorbed back-to-back losses to the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins, 109-80.
Dwight Ramos and Francis Lopez also fell short in their respective outings, with their teams suffering consecutive defeats.
The Levanga Hokkaido bowed anew to the San-en NeoPhoenix, 95-81, with Ramos tallying 11 points, five rebounds, and one assist.
Lopez, for his part, had two points and two rebounds to see the Nagoya Fighting Eagles fall to the Kawasaki Brave Thunders, 82-74.
Elsewhere, Ray Parks Jr. and the Osaka Evessa split their series with the Toyama Grouses following a 93-76 win, with Parks finishing with five points, four rebounds, and three assists.
