Other Pinoys, though, weren't as successful.

The Fil-Aussie guard scored 13 points off the bench, on top of three assists, two boards, and one steal in the loss that ended Nagasaki's six-game win streak to drop to 15-7.
Roosevelt Adams' efforts down low also went down the drain in Kagawa Five Arrows' 96-85 defeat to Bambitious Nara at ROHTO Arena Nara.
The Fil-Am forward grabbed 12 rebounds and went a point shy of a double-double with his nine points, on top of an assist and a block, but Kagawa sunk to 8-14.
Meanwhile, Greg Slaughter was deactivated by Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka in their 83-65 win over Earthfriends Tokyo Z at Ota Gymnasium.
The win pushed the Rizing Zephyr to a 9-13 record to end a six-game losing slump.
Curiously, Fukuoka had one player placed under health and safety protocols for this weekend series.
