KAI Sotto finally completed the loan move from Hiroshima Dragonflies to fellow Japan B.League side Yokohama B-Corsairs after clearing paperwork.
The loan move, which will be effective for the remainder of the 2023-24 season and use up one season of Sotto's contract extension with the Dragonflies, was jointly announced by the two B.League teams on Thursday.

The loan move, which SPIN.ph first reported on Dec. 13, was delayed for days as the 7-3 slotman completed paperwork required for migrant workers in Japan, Sotto's camp bared.
The Gilas Pilipinas mainstay, his camp added, has already passed a physical and is ready to play for his new club after sitting out the entire season due to a herniated lumbar disc he suffered in an NBA Summer League stint with the Orlando Magic.
"All healthy and ready to go," said a member of Sotto's camp.
The B-Corsairs will be the third club team for the 21-year old Sotto, who before his one-season stint with the Hiroshima Dragonflies played for the Adelaide 36ers in Australia's National Basketball League.
“I would like to thank everyone involved in the Yokohama B-Corsairs club for believing in me and signing me to play for the team despite my recovery from injury,” Sotto said in a statement released by the club.
Yokohama currently sits at 19th place with a 10-14 record in B-1.
Sotto thanked the Dragonflies in a post on the team's social media pages.
"I wanna thank the Hiroshima Dragonflies family for everything. I'm very happy I spent some time with this team because i enjoyed the whole experience. Having to transfer teams is a very hard adjustment, but I'm ready for what awaits. I'll always wish Hiroshima Dragonflies the best of luck. And i will miss my brothers, coaches, staff, and fans. I hope i see everybody again some time soon. Kaiju out!"
At Yokohama, Kai gets to play with Yuki Kawamura, an excellent point guard who averages 25.2 points and 5.8 assists per game.
