KAI Sotto set a new career-best in scoring on Saturday in the Japan B.League.
The 7-foot-3 center unloaded 28 points on top of six rebounds in the Yokohama B-Corsairs' tough 81-75 defeat to Alvark Tokyo at Yokohama International Pool.
It's the finest scoring output to date for Sotto who has reinvigorated his career since being loaned from Hiroshima Dragonflies as he is paired up with Japanese national player Yuki Kawamura.

The back-to-back losses, however, dropped the B-Corsairs to a 21-26 record in the Central Division.
Ray Parks was the lone Filipino to taste victory in this game day as the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins scored the 102-85 win over Toyama Grouses at Dolphins Arena.
The Fil-Am guard notched five points and four rebounds in the win to push his side up to a 30-17 record.
Other Pinoys weren't as lucky.

Thirdy Ravena struggled in San-En NeoPhoenix's 82-75 loss to the Sendai 89ers at Xebio Arena Sendai as he shot 1-of-8 from the field to wind up with only three points, five assists, and a rebound. The NeoPhoenix saw their win run snapped at three and fell to 37-10.
RJ Abarrientos put up 10 points and three assists in Shinshu Brave Warriors' 76-69 loss to Fighting Eagles Nagoya at White Ring Arena. It was the Brave Warriors' 15th straight defeat to sink further to 6-41.
Luckily, players in B2 (Division II) had it better.
Kiefer Ravena helped the Shiga Lakes earn back-to-back wins with a 78-70 victory over Bambitious Nara at Shiga Daihatsu Arena. The Pinoy guard lit up with 14 points, six assists, and three rebounds as the Lakes rose to 38-15.
Roosevelt Adams' seven points and two rebounds were also crucial in Yamagata Wyverns' 93-86 road conquest over Koshigaya Alphas at Koshigaya City Gymnasium to move up to 27-26.
