BOBBY Ray Parks ended 2022 with a bang being instrumental to the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins’ 105-67 beating of Sunrockers Shibuya late Saturday night in the Japan B.League at the Dolphins Arena.
The Filipino import tallied eight points from a pair of treys and two rebounds in 21 minutes to help the Dolphins sweep SunRockers for a 19-7 record.
Coty Clarke led the way with 25 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Scott Eatherton’s 15 markers and nine boards as Nagoya scored a repeat after an 88-86 overtime win a day prior.
Losses for the Ravenas
Meanwhile, siblings Thirdy and Kiefer Ravena fell short of victories for San-En NeoPhoenix and Shiga Lakes, respectively.

The younger Ravena posted 10 markers, three assists, and a rebound in San-En’s defeat to Chiba Jets, 100-70, also on Saturday at the Funabashi Arena.
Kiefer, on his end, had eight points and five dimes as Shiga bowed to the Ibaraki Robots, 87-69, at the Adastra Mito Arena.
Jordan Hamilton's 26 points were not enough to save the Lakes from a ninth consecutive loss after also losing to Ibaraki, 90-83, on Friday.
Another Filipino got a taste of defeat to end the year as Matthew Wright and the Kyoto Hannaryz fell to the Kawasaki Brave Thunders, 89-76, breaking their three-game win streak, at the Todoroki Arena.
The former Phoenix Super LPG star had eight points, six rebounds, and two dimes for Kyoto, which dropped to 10-16 for the season after an 87-83 win over the same team the day before.

Meanwhile, Levanga Hokkaido fell short to the Fighting Eagles Nagoya, 74-70, on Friday and 85-83 on Saturday, with Dwight Ramos still sidelined by an ankle injury suffered last month.
