SECOND seed in the East remains up for grabs and the chase for it is ramping up, as the Japan B.League heads into its final elimination game day.
Three teams remain in contention for the playoff incentive, with Quentin Millora-Brown’s Chiba Jets, the Gunma Crane Thunders of AJ Edu, and Alvark Tokyo all tied at 41-18 after Saturday.
The Jets took care of business against Altiri Chiba, 98-81, even with QMB still sidelined.
Gunma, for its part, gutted out an 83-82 win over Sendai 89ers despite an off-night from Edu who went scoreless, but grabbed seven rebounds and one assist.

Alvark, meanwhile, topped Levanga, 111-104, even with Dwight Ramos erupting for 29 points for Hokkaido.
Chiba currently holds the tiebreaker advantage after winning its season series against both Gunma and Alvark.
Other Filipino imports
Other Filipino also imports faltered in their respective games.
Kai Sotto posted 12 points, 11 rebounds, and one assist, but Koshigaya Alphas fell to SeaHorses Mikawa, 83-75.
Kiefer Ravena and the Yokohama B-Corsairs also came up short against Kawasaki Brave Thunders, 74-71, despite the veteran guard’s 11 points, three rebounds, and two assists.
Ray Parks Jr. and Osaka Evessa absorbed an 87-81 loss to Ibaraki Robots, while Francis Lopez and the Nagoya Fighting Eagles bowed to Shimane Susanoo Magic, 91-85.
Parks finished with seven points, six rebounds, and four assists, while Lopez added three points and one rebound.
