Ramos has missed the past 17 games for Hokkaido since suffering the injury back in November and is expected to remain on the sidelines for Wednesday's game against Alvark Tojyo.

With his withdrawal from the Asia All-Stars team, Ramos also will have to serve a one-game penalty and will not be allowed to play on the Levanga's game against Utsunomiya Brex next Wednesday.

Ramos' presence has been sorely missed by Hokkaido, with him averaging 12.18 points 4.55 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 2.36 steals in 11 games this season.

The Levanga also found themselves at the bottom of the standings with their 7-21 win-loss record.

That leaves a handful of Filipinos for the midseason exhibition where the Asian imports play against some of the young rising stars in the Japan B.League.

Representing the Philippines in the event are Bobby Ray Parks of Nagoya Diamond Dolphins, Matthew Wright of Kyoto Hannaryz, and brothers Kiefer Ravena of Shiga Lakes and Thirdy Ravena of San-En NeoPhoenix.

Also part of the crew are second division imports Kobe Paras of Altiri Chiba, Jordan Heading of Nagasaki Velca, Roosevelt Adams of Kagawa Five Arrows, and Greg Slaughter of Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka.
