DWIGHT Ramos and Francis Lopez split their first faceoff in the Japan B.League as the Levanga Hokkaido hosted the Fighting Eagles Nagoya this weekend at Hokkai Kitayell.

Ramos anchored Hokkaido's 90-74 victory on Sunday, putting up 13 points, eight assists, one rebound, and one steal against Lopez' two boards, an assist, and a block in 13 minutes.

The former University of the Philippines forward drew first blood on Saturday as Nagoya took the 91-74 win, finishing with eight points and three rebounds, one dime, and one steal.

On the other hand, Ramos got 13 points, two steals, and one rebound in Hokkaido's third loss in seven games. Nagoya is at 3-4.

The weekend points enabled Ramos to reach 2,000 points in his fourth season in B.League's top flight.

Ray Parks also earned a weekend split as Osaka Evessa visited the Shiga Lakes at Shiga Daihatsu Arena. His 14 points, five rebounds, and one steal aided Osaka's 80-72 win on Sunday, which avenged a 71-70 loss on Saturday where he had nine points, three boards, two assists, one steal, one block. The Evessa are now 3-4.

    AJ Edu's efforts also wasn't enough to stop the Gunma Crane Thunders' two-game losing skid, getting swept by Chiba Jets at LaLa Arena Tokyo Bay.

    He had 13 points, seven rebounds, and three assists in a nail-biting 80-79 loss on Saturday, and got eight points, eight boards, and two assists in an 84-70 defeat on Sunday to drop to 3-4.

    Kiefer Ravena suffered the same fate as Yokohama B-Corsairs lost twice to the Shimane Susanoo Magic at Kami Arena.

    He notched 10 points, six assists, two rebounds, and one steal in Saturday's 81-66 setback, while also tallying 15 points, three boards, two assists, and one steal in their 101-82 blowout loss on Sunday as Yokohama slipped to 2-5.
