DWIGHT Ramos was pivotal in Levanga Hokkaido's weekend sweep of Hiroshima Dragonflies at Hiroshima Sun Plaza as they move near the top of the 2025-26 Japan B.League standings.

The Gilas Pilipinas guard had seven points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals, and two blocks in a 94-73 win on Saturday and did even better in a 98-97 nipping on Sunday, notching 14 points, five assists, three rebounds, and one steal.

His play allowed Hokkaido to ascend to a 3-1 record and a place at the upper half of the Eastern Division.

Lopez, Eagles fly high

Francis Lopez' Fighting Eagles Nagoya also got the better of Kiefer Ravena's Yokohama B-Corsairs, taking the weekend series at Yokohama International Pool.

Lopez nabbed seven points, four rebounds, and one assist in Nagoya's 90-71 rout on Saturday, even as Ravena matched his output with eight points and two assists.

The former University of the Philippines forward also put up five points in the 91-88 thriller on Sunday against Ravena, who chipped in 18 points, four boards, and three steals in the losing effort.

Nagoya and Yokohama now find themselves tied at 2-2.

AJ Edu's Gunma Crane Thunders split their weekend series against Ibaraki Robots at Hitachi City Ikenokawa Sakura Arena to even their record to 2-2.

His eight points, nine boards, and three blocks aided Gunma to a 76-56 victory on Sunday, atoning for his six points and nine rebounds in Saturday's 85-79 defeat.

Other Pinoys, though, failed to register wins this weekend.

Ray Parks' Osaka Evessa lost back-to-back to Nagoya Diamond Dolphins at IG Arena, first in an 85-66 rout on Saturday where he got eight points and four rebounds; and an 87-70 loss on Sunday where he was held to just three points and two boards as they went down to a 1-3 card.

    Jamie Malonzo's Kyoto Hannaryz are in the midst of a three-game losing skid after a pair of defeats to Shiga Lakes at Shiga Daihatsu Arena.
