CHIBA Jets climbed into a share of second place in the East after fending off Dwight Ramos and Levanga Hokkaido, 104-94, in the Japan B.League on Saturday.
Even without Quentin Millora-Brown, who remains sidelined due to sciatica, the Jets held firm to improve to a 37-17 slate.
Ramos, for his part, finished with 13 points, four rebounds, and one assist for the playoff-chasing Hokkaido squad, which remains just outside the postseason picture.

In other games, AJ Edu put up seven points, eight rebounds, and five assists, but Gunma Crane Thunders fell short against top-seeded Utsunomiya Brex, 86-82.
Ray Parks Jr. and Kiefer Ravena, meanwhile, came out on top in their respective outings.
Parks delivered 13 points, three rebounds, and two assists as Osaka Evessa routed Kawasaki Brave Thunders, 98-76.
Ravena also chipped in seven points, two assists, and two rebounds to steer his side to a 69-60 win over Sun Rockers Shibuya.
Elsewhere, Kai Sotto and Francis Lopez were handed losses in their assignments.
Sotto still impressed with a 15-point, 11-rebound double-double, along with three assists, but Koshigaya Alphas bowed to Alvark Tokyo, 73-66.
Nagoya Fighting Eagles also absorbed a setback, falling to Saga Ballooners, 83-74, despite Lopez tallying six points and one rebound
