Chiba matched that an 84-63 rout of Kawasaki Brave Thunders, even without QMB, who remains sidelined due to sciatica.
With the wins, Gunma and Chiba remained at the second and third spots in the East with 36-16 and 35-17 records, respectively.
Meanwhile, Levanga Hokkaido kept its playoff hopes alive after escaping Altiri Chiba behind Dwight Ramos’ 18-point, seven-rebound, and five-assist effort.
Ramos and Co. improved to 32-20, still lurking just outside the playoff picture.
Kai Sotto and Kiefer Ravena also came away with wins.
Sotto delivered 12 points, four rebounds, and four assists to steer Koshigaya Alphas to an 87-70 win over Ibaraki Robots.

Ravena, despite an off night, saw Yokohama B-Corsairs pull off an 85-83 escape over Alvark Tokyo, finishing with two points, four assists, and two rebounds.
Ray Parks and Francis Lopez absorbed losses.
Osaka Evessa fell short against top-seeded Utsunomiya Brex, 80-77, with Parks tallying 11 points, four rebounds, and three assists.
Lopez, on the other hand, posted 16 points, six rebounds, and two assists, but his efforts went in vain as his squad bowed to Toyama Grouses, 109-86.
