AJ Edu emerged victorious in his battle with Gilas Pilipinas teammate Dwight Ramos when their respective teams met on Wednesday in the 2025-26 Japan B.League season.
Edu commanded the defense in the Gunma Crane Thunders' 99-72 home win over the Levanga Hokkaido at Openhouse Arena Ota, finishing with six points, nine rebounds, six assists, and two blocks to push his team's record up to 3-2.
Ramos only had six points and two assists, as Hokkaido slipped to 3-2.
Ray Parks was also triumphant in his first go-round against Francis Lopez when the Osaka Evessa outlasted the Fighting Eagles Nagoya, 87-73, at Nagoya Biwajima Sports Center.

He had three points, but grabbed six rebounds and one steal to help Osaka climb up to 2-3.
Lopez also tallied six points, two boards, two blocks, and one steal, as Nagoya saw its two-game win run snapped to drop to 2-3.

Meanwhile, Kiefer Ravena and Jamie Malonzo were on the losing end of their respective midweek matches.
Ravena only collected four points, three rebounds, and two assists in the Yokohama B-Corsairs' 72-70 defeat to the Kai Sotto-less Koshigaya Alphas at Yokohama International Pool to slump to a 2-3 record.
Malonzo, on the other hand, played only five minutes in the Kyoto Hannaryz' 82-57 blowout loss to the Hiroshima Dragonflies at Kyoto City Gymnasium to drop to 1-4.
