THE worst kept secret is out.
Jake Figueroa is heading to Korea as he is set to join the Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus.
The team announced the move on Friday, formalizing the signing of the National U standout after a superb campaign in UAAP Season 88.
Figueroa is set to join the team later this month, replacing Migs Oczon who recently underwent a surgery on his shoulder.
It's a new chapter for the former UAAP Juniors MVP who is set to be named as part of the Mythical Team after averaging 13.9 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 2.1 steals, and 1.0 block.
He has been the catalyst for the Bulldogs' Final Four drive, finishing on top of the standings at 11-3 before falling to La Salle in the semifinals.
The 6-foot-3 forward from Bacolor, Pampanga will be more than a welcome addition for Ulsan which has wallowed at the bottom of the standings at 6-13.
