IRIGA City overcame a 25-point deficit to beat Taguig, 93-91, last Saturday in the National Basketball League (NBL) Season 2 at the Philippine Christian University gym in Dasmariñas, Cavite.
Jester Olea hit a three-pointer with 15.7 seconds left after Terence Tumalip pulled off a chasedown block for the game-winning plays that allowed the Oragons to grab a 92-91 lead.
Tumalip and Eric Bernales finished with 17 points each, and Olea had 13 points for Iriga City, which improved to 7-4 following the come-from-behind win that saw the Oragons overcome an 82-57 deficit early in the fourth period.
