CEBU -- There will be an added international spice for the first leg of the Chooks-to-Go Pilipinas 3x3 Patriot's Cup as VetHealth Delhi 3BL of India will mix it up with the country's top 3x3 teams on Sunday.
VetHealth Delhi 3BL, composed of Inderbir Singh Gill, Bikramjit Gill, Kiran Shastri, and Arsh Deep Singh, are currently ranked as the 14th-best 3x3 squad in the world.
Inderbir Singh Gill is slotted as the world no. 56 among 3x3 players, Bikramjit Gill is at 59th, and Kiran Shastri is at 61st.
They are aiming to make a bigger mark in the Patriot's Cup, especilaly after their 11th place finish in the Novi Sad Challenger and an 8th place windup in the Nanjing Challenger.
The Indians' entry to the import-laced conference will be an added challenge for the Philippine squads in the second offing of the first-of-its-kind 3x3 league in the country, this time presented by Coca-Cola.
VetHealth Delhi 3BL is sure to give President's Cup champions and world no. 26 Gold's Gym Pasig Kings and Asia Pacific Super Quest bridesmaids Wilkins Balanga a run for their money at SM Seaside City Cebu.
Also set to see action are host Max4-Birada Cebu, returning squads Vigan MiGuard and Zamboanga Valientes MLV, newcomers Basilan Phenom, Tycoon Ballers QC, Inoza-Gulf Supreme Boosters Bulacan, and Thunder Pateros Hunters, and guest team SWU Cebu Cobras.
