    Imus Bandila makes it two wins in a row in NBL with victory over One Cainta

    IMUS maintained made it two wins in a row in the National Basketball League Season 2, defeating One Cainta, 98-80, on Sunday at the Hagonoy Sports Complex in Taguig City.

    Jepoy Sarao scored 17 points and hauled nine rebounds for the Imus Bandila.

    The Bandila won despite missing top scorer Kim Cinco, closing in on Iriga City Oragons, who are in first place with a 3-0 win-loss record.

    The Taguig Generals handed the Bulacan Starks their first loss, 95-69, with Jonathan Lontoc finishing with 17 points to improve their record to 2-1, same as the Starks.

    At the Emilio Aguinaldo College Sports and Cultural Center, Bjorn Casibang had 19 points and eight rebounds as the Rizal Nationals won in their first game of the season, beating the Quezon City Rising Stars, 83-80.

    The Nueva Ecija Rice Makers won over reigning champion Parañaque Aces, 79-74. Jerome Juanico scored 22 points to lead the Rice Makers to their first victory after two matches.

    The Aces dropped to 3-2 in the amateur league for homegrown talents aired on Basketball TV and GMA News TV International.
