THE EASL welcomes two new teams as part of its expansion heading into the second year of its home-and-away season.
The Hong Kong Eastern and Macau Black Bears are the latest club teams to join the fledgling regional league which kicks off its new season in October.
The league made the official announcement on Wednesday.
HK Eastern previously played in the now-defunct ASEAN Basketball League and is on track to see action as guest team in the mid-season PBA Commissioner's Cup.
The Black Bears, meanwhile, are coming off a runner-up finish behind the Zamboanga Valientes during the grand finals of The Asian Tournament.
