THE third edition of the Headstart Developmental Basketball League (HDBL) Freego Kids Cup opens on April 16 at the SGS Stadium in Quezon City.
On tap are competitions in Under-15, Under-12, and interclub divisions for teams in Metro Manila.
The Philippine team topped last year’s eight-team Under-12 competition, beating Pinoy Youth Dreamers in the final.
Kyle Rivera of the Philippine team was named Most Valuable Player.
Adamson-A won the Under-15 class, defeating San Sebastian in the finals with Adam Doria claiming the MVP title.
