HARVEY Pagsanjan is betting on himself as he turns pro and foregoes his final year of UAAP eligibility with University of the East.
The 6-foot guard has signed with Nueva Ecija Rice Vanguards for the upcoming Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) season.

Pagsanjan, 24, posted averages of 5.1 points and 4.1 rebounds for the Red Warriors this past UAAP Season 85 as he battled injuries all throughout the campaign.
This marks a brand-new start for the Cabanatuan native who is reunited with coach Jerson Cabiltes and team consultant Stevenson Tiu, his mentors at Hope Christian High School.
The former Gilas Youth guard links up with veterans Jonathan Uyloan, Renz Palma, Bobby Balucanag, and Michael Mabulac as the Rice Vanguards aim to defend their crown after ruling the 2022 MPBL Mumbaki Cup last December.
