HAROLD Alarcon had 51 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, and four steals as Bacolod Tay Tung High School routed Trinity Christian School, 140-35, in the National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) Bacolod on Friday.
Alarcon, a 6-foot-1 point guard, had a triple-double, while fellow 2016 Jr. NBA All-Star teammate Felix Valencia added 14 points for Tay Tung in their first game of the tournament.
The Bacolod tournament, which attracted 10 teams, will run next month and is one of the qualifiers for the NBTC National Finals to be held at the Mall of Asia Arena on Manila.
The NBTC will also stage a High School All-Star game where the top 24 players in the country will play.
